Keeping VigilKids running on Samsung phones

Phone Settings
Setting names may vary depending on your device model and operating system version. Not all devices will have every setting listed below; simply enable whichever options are available on your child’s device.
Battery and Performance Settings
Go to Settings > "Battery and device care" (or "Device care") > "Battery"
Power saving mode: "Off"
Power mode: Select "High performance" or "Optimized performance"
Power management / More battery settings: Disable "Put unused apps to sleep" (or "Automatically disable unused apps"), "Block connections," "Adaptive battery" (or "Power saving"), and "Optimize settings." Navigate to "Auto-run apps" (or "Apps that can run automatically") and enable VigilKids. (On some devices, this option may be found under "Background usage limits" within the "Battery" menu.)
Deep sleeping apps: "None" (or ensure none are selected)
Auto-optimization: Ensure "Restart when needed" is turned off.
Apps not checked (or "Apps excluded from optimization"): Add VigilKids to this list.
App Settings
Go to Settings > "App Management" > "VigilKids"
Notification Management: Disable "Show notifications" / "Allow notifications."
Under "Mobile Data Settings," ensure that all relevant options are enabled—for example: "Allow background data usage," "Allow data usage while [Data Saver] is on," and "Allow unrestricted data usage."
Battery: Set to "Unrestricted."
On some devices, you may see "Special access" under "Settings > App Management." Within this section, go to "Optimize battery usage" and ensure that "VigilKids" is set to "Not optimized" (or disabled).
Manage unused apps: Set to "Off."
Memory and Automatic Cleanup Settings
Go to Settings > "Device Care" > "Memory" (or "General Management" > "Memory").
Add "VigilKids" to the list of "Excluded apps" (or "Apps to exclude from cleanup") to ensure it is not cleared by the system.
Automatic Settings Management
Go to "Smart Manager" > "Automatic settings" (or "Advanced settings").
Disable automatic optimization features such as "Auto optimization (daily)" and "Adaptive power saving." (On some devices, the "Auto optimization" option can be found under Settings > Device Care > ⋮).
Accessibility Permissions Settings
Search for "Accessibility" in your system settings and access the relevant menu. Ensure that the "Accessibility menu shortcut" is turned off.
Network Settings
Go to Settings > Connections > WLAN > Advanced
Switch to mobile data: "On"
WLAN power-saving mode: "Off"
Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep: "Always"
Search for "data" in the system settings, navigate to "unrestricted data usage," and ensure that VigilKids is set to have unrestricted data access.

Whether the VigilKids background process service is killed mainly depends on the mobile phone system and not the VigilKids developer. Therefore, the above settings can only improve the situation where the VigilKids background process service is frequently killed, but cannot completely prevent the VigilKids process service from being killed. Under some special circumstances, such as the device battery is too low, too many applications are running in the background, the device and system are too old, etc., you may still encounter frequent killing of processes.

In addition, problems that cannot be used may occur when the device is shut down, VigilKids is uninstalled, or the device is not connected to the Internet. Please check first to see if such a situation exists.
