VigilKids Parental Control Setup Guide
Create Your Account
Create a VigilKids account, then choose the subscription that includes WhatsApp monitoring.
- Sign in with Google, or register using your email and password.
- Keep your login details available for the connection process.
Connect WhatsApp
- Log in to the VigilKids dashboard and select Bind New Device.
- Select WhatsApp in the setup assistant.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize the WhatsApp Web connection.
Start Monitoring
After the connection is authorized, open the WhatsApp dashboard to view available activity.
- Messages and deleted-message records where supported
- Shared photos, videos, and documents
- Contacts and call history
- Chat history and available location data
Troubleshooting
The WhatsApp connection expired
Open Bind New Device again and repeat authorization while the device is online.
New activity is not appearing
Confirm the connection remains active and allow time for the first synchronization.

Do I need to install an app or jailbreak the phone?
No app installation or jailbreak is required for the supplied WhatsApp connection flow. Authorization is completed through a web-based connection.
Can I connect WhatsApp from my own phone?
Open the VigilKids dashboard on your phone or computer and choose WhatsApp under Bind New Device. Brief access to the authorized WhatsApp device is required to approve the connection.
Why did the WhatsApp connection expire?
The linked session may have been logged out or disconnected. Open Bind New Device and repeat authorization while the WhatsApp device is online.
