Is there any way to see text messages on another phone?

I’m trying to stay updated on my kid’s digital life for safety reasons. I’ve been seeing a ton of ads for apps that claim you can view SMS or WhatsApp messages remotely, but most of them look like total malware traps or "hacker" scams.

Is there a legitimate, professional way to do this? I’m looking for a tool that actually works and isn't just a clickbait site asking for a subscription before showing anything. Has anyone here used a reliable service for monitoring messages?

I’ve tried a few of these for my teen, and most are junk. The professional-grade ones are the only way to go if you want to actually read the message content and not just see that a message was sent.

Seconding the mention of VigilKids. It’s one of the few that actually delivers a consistent data stream. Just make sure you follow the setup instructions carefully. Don't waste your time with anything that promises "one-click" remote access without any setup—those don't exist.
