VigilKids Parental Control Setup Guide
This guide will help you quickly register, install, and connect VigilKids so you can start using all premium features to protect your child both online and in real life.

To make setup even easier, we’ve prepared a YouTube video that walks you through the entire installation and setup process. We recommend watching the video before following this guide — it’ll save time and help you avoid common mistakes.
Step 1: Create Your Account and Choose a Plan
Click the button below to begin setting up your account.
You can register using one of two methods:
- Option 1: Sign in with Google (one-click login)
- Option 2: Sign up manually with your email and password
This step involves actions on both the parent and child devices:
Note:If you sign up via Google, your VigilKids username and password will be sent to your email. Please keep them safe.
Step 2: Connect Your Child’s Device
This step involves actions on both the parent and child devices:
- Parent Device: Log in to your VigilKids dashboard to generate a pairing code
- Child Device: Follow the instructions to install the app, set the necessary permissions, and enter the pairing code to complete the connection
1. Get the Pairing Code on the Parent Device
- On your phone or computer, go to http://my.vigilkids.com and log in to your account.
- Once logged in, you’ll be taken to the VigilKids dashboard.
- On the homepage, click “Bind New Device” to open the setup assistant.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to generate a unique pairing code. Make sure to write it down or take a screenshot for later.
- You’ll now need physical access to your child’s Android device for the next steps.
2. Install VigilKids Assistant on the Child’s Device
- On your child’s phone, open the browser and visit https://www.vigilkids.vip
- Swipe right on the screen to start downloading the VigilKids Assistant app (If the download doesn't start, refresh the page and try again.)
- Once the download is complete, tap to install the app. If you can’t find the file, go to File Manager > Downloads
Installation Tip:
If you see the ‘Install blocked for unknown sources’ message, simply tap ‘Yes’ — this will take you to settings and automatically turn it on.
3. Grant Permissions and Enter Pairing Code
- After installation, tap Get Started to launch the app, then click Let’s Start to begin setup
- First, disable Google Play’s Play Protect
- Follow the on-screen prompts to grant all required permissions (such as storage, location, accessibility, etc.)
- Enter the pairing code you generated earlier on your parent device
- Once the device is successfully linked, tap Hide Now to make the app icon disappear from the home screen
4. Clear Installation Traces & Enable Location Services
To protect privacy and ensure accurate location tracking, we recommend:
- Open the browser and clear browsing history
- Go to My Files, delete the VigilKids installation file, and empty the recycle bin
- Pull down the top menu and enable Location Services on the phone
- Return to the app and tap Get Started to finalize the setup
Step 3: Start Monitoring from Your Dashboard
Once your child’s device is successfully connected, you can return to your VigilKids dashboard and begin monitoring remotely. You'll be able to view:
- Real-time location and route history
- Social media chats and multimedia files
- App usage, keystrokes, screen recordings
- Browsing history, call logs, and other daily activity data
