my wife's behavior has been really off for months and a friend recommended spyphone to see her messages. $60/mo which is steep but whatever. anyone actually used it or is this one of the scammy ones
Anyone paid for Spyphone? is it a scam
bro. i know you're hurting. i was where you were 2 yrs ago. spent $200 total on spyphone and similar apps before i figured it out.
what i learned: 1. these apps work BARELY. on iphone you need her apple id password. on android you need her phone in your hands for 20+ min uninterrupted 2. even when they work they show you maybe 60% of what's happening. snapchat, signal, and instagram DMs often don't come through 3. no amount of evidence will make the conversation easier. if anything it makes it worse bc then you're the one who "violated her privacy"
if you genuinely think something is wrong, couples therapy or a PI is a better use of $60. seriously
OP: hadn't thought about a PI. that an option for something like this?
a real licensed PI will tell you what you actually need to know legally and ethically, and their evidence holds up if this ends in divorce. spy apps do not. i wish someone had told me this before i went down that road
spyphone specifically is one of the older brands and the interface looks like it's from 201 2. does it work? sort of. is there a better option? marginally, but they're all doing the same thing. mspy, eyezy, flexispy etc are all selling the same fantasy
my guy. if she's cheating, she's cheating. finding the evidence on her phone won't undo it. but it WILL make the conversation and the legal process way messier if she finds out you installed malware on her phone
i work in this space professionally. what i see over and over: spouse installs spy app, finds affair, confronts partner, partner gets lawyer who argues the evidence was obtained illegally, now the cheater has leverage. don't do this. talk to a divorce attorney BEFORE you do anything, they can tell you what's admissible in your state
OP: yeah okay. this isn't what i wanted to hear but probably what i needed to hear. gonna cancel the trial and figure out my next step
