Permissions & Local Data Use
How VigilTime uses Android permissions while keeping core data on the device.

Local-only processing. VigilTime uses Android permissions only to provide screen-time reports, app limits, focus sessions, and user-requested device controls. Core product data remains on the device.

No direct internet transmission
VigilTime does not include the Android INTERNET permission. It does not directly send app data, feedback, or logs. Privacy, terms, and support links only launch the device’s external browser; later network requests are handled by that browser, not by VigilTime.
Data handling
- Core screen-time, app-usage, focus-session, and app-limit data is processed and stored locally.
- This core usage data is not collected, uploaded, sold, or shared by VigilTime.
- Restriction-password data is not transmitted.
- VigilTime does not use app-usage data for advertising or profiling.
User control
Users can revoke permissions and special access in Android settings at any time. The related feature may stop working after access is revoked.
